So I’ve made some folks upset with my latest post on “not letting Christian plant a church.” People do we have to be so sensitive?
I’ve gotten stuck in some meetings today and I need to get ready for COM Group tonight. But I hope to post my thoughts on this tomorrow.
I will say this…There is a big difference between Christians and missional Christians. Some Christians want to come and serve and love and give and sacrifice for the vision of the local church. While others want to come and take and complain and need to be “fed & fed & fed & fed” and want control and all that. So we have to discern who to say “yes” to and “no” to. Not easy.
My church is filled with what I call “recovering evangelicals.” Men and women who really desire to seek God and His mission. They serve deeply, very committed and don’t require control. They put up with our leadership mistakes and they still love us (staff) in our weaknesses.
Anyhow…Hopefully I can post tonight or tomorrow. In the meantime please don’t hate me 
Whose mad at you bro? Cause I certainly ain’t. I am actually quite fond of you and would love to have you co-laboring with us down here. Look forward to your thoughts bro, cause I am always working through these things myself.
