Awhile back I posted a quick blog entry confirming that Louie Giglio and Chris Tomlin are in fact planting a church in Atlanta.
Well it looks like all things are a go. Passion City Church is launching Feb 15th. I hope and pray that God would use this Church to bring shalom to the city of Atlanta.
I know a lot of folks are critical and assuming the worst. But I choose to trust that God is going to do something great.
It is my prayer that the desire of Louie and Chris to reach the college students and young people of downtown Atlanta will be realized. There are thousands of students at Georgia State, Georgia Tech, the Atlanta University Center, and other institutions near downtown whose hearts are hungry to know of the love of Jesus Christ. This mission field is ready for the entrance of God's people to enter boldly with the message of hope and joy.
