I keep forgetting some basic principles in life. For instance, when I work less I get more done. Why is that so hard to remember? I feel like I have so much to do that I can’t stop working. Sometimes I find myself working in the middle of the night trying to keep everything going in the right direction. But, It almost always comes back to haunt me; usually I burn out and have nothing left to give and because of that I have prolonged days of unproductively.

This week I’ve tried to have some more fun, play with my kids more, enjoy the outdoors and play some x-box! Its simple, when I work less I get more done, because my mind is focused and rested.

Of course we all have times of chaos and we have to work more. But, today my daughter came in my office at 7PM and asked me why I was working and she wanted to know when I was going to stop! *ouch*

Just another reminder that I have to learn to slow-down and have some fun. HELP will be around tomorrow, poverty will always be with us,*that sucks* it’s a lifelong fight that will never end, phone calls, emails, and all the other junk will always be there.

As for my family, health and friends, they won’t always be around to love and enjoy, so I have to learn to stay focused on the present and enjoy the moment.
