As much as I love trying to launch a non-profit, supporting the global poor and advocating on their behalf, I have a confession, the truth is there are many times when I desire HELP to be successful for my own sake, sometimes, its more about “me” than “them.”

Here is why:

- I want to be successful.
- I want to travel the world.
- I want to feel important.
- I want to known.
- I want to act like I’m living some-sort of missional life.
- I want a reason/purpose to live.

Every morning I seek God, repent and ask God to help me stay humble. It’s so easy to use someone else’s story and try to leverage that story to make oneself feel better. I’m working with the poor, travel to exotic countries, create cool marketing campaigns, live my life with a greater purpose, etc.

Evil is always close, its never far away. Which makes me grateful for God’s grace!
