It’s Sunday morning, the Wahba’s arrived home last night. This is the first morning that we’ve gotten to hang with them. Such great people, needless to say they went over-board on taking care of us. The house is perfect, definitely a “gospel” hospitality is taking place.
Also, our pup is with Chad and Suzanne. She is having a blast with their dog, Lucy. Again, it’s so great to see the Kingdom become tangible. Without The Miller’s and the Wahba’s we would not have been able to move to Raleigh.
Our first few days have been super busy. We hung out with Jason and Diana Gore at the Coldplay concert, Wes and Diana at Morning Times, The Alambaugh’s in downtown Raleigh and Chad and Suzanne at their pad, and we also did some hiking at Falls River and looked at some neighborhoods to live in.
At this point we are leaning towards living in Downtown Raleigh or the North Hills Neighborhood. We shall see. Also, tonight we will attend V21 and also a meeting at Visio Dei. These are two of my favorite churches and they are led by some great dudes who deeply love Raleigh!
We do miss our Austin friends. Scotty and Sully turn thirty and one this week..Crazy eh? The day after we left, we found out that Necole’s sister is pregnant again. Seems like we keep adding the the family!
We are very happy to have such great friends in Austin, Raleigh and all-over-the-world. God is good to us. This week I’m looking forward to working and getting focused on HELP. Close to 30,000 kids will die today because they don’t have clean water, medicine of food to eat-that drives me crazy, matter-of-fact its quite haunting…Lucky for me I have friends who want to help make a difference as we strive to serve the global poor.

Good to have you in Raleigh mate!
