So last night Necole and I were fortunate enough to see U2 live for the first time. This was definitely a “bucket list” moment for us. It’s hard to describe the evening, maybe perfect is the literally the best word.
The weather was amazing, the show was in Raleigh, we had great seats and both bands were awesome.
Muse opened up with a 45 minute set that was really good. Muse, by nature is a perfect stadium band, the funny thing is, I plan almost EVERY sermon while listening to Muse.
After a thirty minute intercession U2 hit the stage, the crowd of 70,000 was electric, U2 was high energy and fully into the moment. The one downside to the evening was the sound, it was hard to hear Bono talk in-between songs!
U2 played 23 songs, I think my favorite moment was Bono singing Amazing Grace, pretty epic. I snapped some pics from the iPhone. I think last night was by far my favorite music experience, like I said above, it was really perfect.

Our Bono, that art in U2, hallowed by thy name. lol.
