In case you missed it, I’ve also been blogging over at the HELP Blog. Thought I would do an update here.

1. We’ve decided to work in Haiti. Jacob, Scotty, and myself will be heading to Haiti in May to do some planning, praying and relationship building.

2. My friends started a new ministry website called Shrink The Church. I wrote an article on social media and justice. Great website with a clear vision. Go check it out.

3. I was interviewed by the Chicago Tribune in regards, to orphan care, adoption and Haiti.

4. I’ve been reading a lot lately. I read this, (good) this (great) and this, (really good) and I’m reading this and this. (both are excellent so far)

5. HELP has opportunity to work in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia and Haiti. Of course, we LOVE Zimbabwe and S. Africa. So much to do, we need to get it done! Ideas are a dime-a-dozen, idea implementers are desperately needed.

6. Garage Sale 4 Orphans website launches soon. We’ve already got folks throwing garage sale parties. We hope to raise $50,00 in the next 6 months for our Haiti and Zimbabwe projects. If you’d be willing to hold a garage sale party to help rescue orphans, please leave a comment.

7. I’ve written a bunch of blogs post over the years. Over 200 in my drafts folder. I wonder if I’ll ever get the courage to release them? Some of my “true” thoughts about the missional conversation, the church, and theology. Especially my discontent for _________ okay, I simply can’t say it. Not yet!
